Hello,
Just a quick post to see who is coming to Portugal this year and to see if anyone is interested in grouping together to hire a minibus?
Not sure if it is a viable suggestion right now but thought it would be good to get an idea of numbers and flight times, so we don’t have to fit 15 of us into a Volkswagon polo and have people fighting on who sits on Dave’s knee!
Let me know what you think and I will investigate.

Have been meaning to post this for almost a week now but have finally got it done. On the 16 th of October in a sunny but cool Amsterdam I finally achieved my goal of running a sub 3:30 marathon. It has taken 5 attempts but it was well worth the wait, crossing the line in [...]
A brilliant result for yourself and Helen. It was a great day as you all finished and there were some spectacular results. 6 out of 7 of you ran a marathon pb! We also had several pb’s and returns to form in the half later in the afternoon. Definitely a top Autumn marathon and it is worth waiting until the cooler weather arrives. Conditions were perfect! 2012 looks very exciting for you both………..well done guys.

I quite agree Chris. Good luck to you all. Forecast is for 23 degrees and sun on race day by 12 noon. Lets hope the weather forecasters have an off day! Good luck guys and remember how well you have been training, especially our own Martin Williams, Steve Watmough, Stella Moss and Ben Feas.

Hi Sue, have been meaning to say that I did the same test back in June and it was a very good experience. I need to arrange my follow up session but it was good to see the initial data and gauge where I am and what I need to do to go forward.

It’s Brentwood this Sunday so going to push it and see how I go. Although looking at the profile of it those hills could be a killer! Only 10 days till the Algarve and really looking forward to it. Does anyone know the best way to get from the airport to Alfamar Hotel?Chris, I have used Elite Tours a few times. Cost is 36 euros for 1 or 2 people from Faro Airport to Alfamar or return.
