    Hi to you all and welcome to the new runningwithus community area. This is a great opportunity to chat to fellow runningwithus athletes and friends, share ideas and help each other. You can ask us questions along the way and even ask each other for top tips and advice. Julie has built our community and please keep in touch with her if you have any questions or issues along the way.
    So get involved, join the forum and lets all work hard together. We also want your funny stories, nightmares and moments of inspiration along the way.

    Hello! I’m Simon and I have been training under Nick’s guidance since August 2010. In a few short months we managed to squeeze in a 10 mile PB, a half marathon PB and a marathon PB… so I’d say it has been pretty successful for me.

    I am a member of the Mornington Chasers and I am really keen that the men and women that I train with there get the maximum from their running, so I helped to organise a talk where Nick and Phoebe came to talk to the Chasers and give them some advice. It was really well received and I hope it will be the first of many such sessions. After all, if the rest of the Chasers don’t improve, I won’t have anyone to ‘chase’ :-)

    Hi, I’m Sue. I started running late in life. I train six days a week with Nick’s coaching. If I am not running, I am thinking about running or reading about running etc. I enter a new age group later this year and am aiming for some impressive results(and some fun along the way)

    Hi, Im Lorna, I started running about 19 months ago, and i’ve very recently started training under Phoebe. I’m really looking forward to the next 8-9 weeks leading up to the Paris Marathon. I dont belong to any running club, but I do have a regular running partner to do my long runs with, and also take the dogs out with me on my more relaxed runs :)
    First goal is to run Rading Half and get a PB……so full steam ahead now!

    Tom here,

    Started running in late 2007/2008 when my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and I made the inevitable decision to run a marathon to raise money. After 4 months got around Bath half in 1:29, 10 months got around Berlin marathon in 3:01 so decided it was worth having a go to see how good I could get. Joined Mornington Chasers after meeting Simon.

    Having spent 2010 out with injury I started working with Nick in October after a couple of failed comebacks. I am now after only 4 months much fitter, faster and strong than I was before injury, aiming for a championship qualifying half marathon in 2011 and a good marathon in 2012. I am captain of Mornington Chasers and the club’s coach…which both seem to take up as much time as running!
