Beginners

We remember what it felt like to put the running shoes on for the first time. What do I do next? Where shall I run and what do I do if I can only run a couple of hundred yards before I have to stop…? After all I can’t even run for the bus…!

Our beginners coaching is totally aimed at teaching you to build your running gradually, understand your body, what it is telling you and how these signals can help you to take your fitness forward. We believe you can get fit to run for 30 minutes non stop in 6 weeks with the right help.

So are you entered for your first ever 5k or do you want to just enjoy running as a regular part of your lifestyle? Either way we can help you to make running a fun, safe, sustainable feature in your life. You will feel better, lose and control body weight and have a wonderful journey that gives you the confidence to leave your front door knowing how to structure your runs, achieving goals you never thought possible.

How you can begin runningwithus…

We offer one to one sessions including a safe warm up, key beginners running tips and a structured workout. This includes power walking where relevant and running at paces that are suitable for the individual; along with guidelines on strengthening and stretching exercises that don’t require a gym.

Group sessions are also available aimed at: work colleagues in a lunch hour or after work; parents having dropped little ones off at school or to help you and a group of friends who are regretting having signed up for ‘that’ race!

We can give you a weekly training programme set for your own lifestyle, its demands and your time. This is planned with your coach where realistic goals and targets are also set.

You can then email or call your coach to ask questions and give updates all keeping us up to speed with your progress.
